I appreciate the dedication of many individuals to helping students in all aspects of their university experience. I appreciate the efforts of the current upper administration to make NIU a more diverse, equitable, and welcoming institution. I appreciate the degree to which the upper administration has cooperated with the faculty union to make NIU a better place to work, both in terms of faculty compensation and the measures taken to protect the NIU community during the pandemic.
