I appreciate that my institution recognizes and appreciates my areas of expertise in research and teaching. I feel confident in being able to teach a diverse range of topics-often confronting challenging material-with the support of my department, college, and university. Similarly, I do not feel pressured to research any one topic, and I am allowed to pursue my interests and to develop new areas of expertise.
