Which institutions are eligible to participate?
The survey is open to both two-year and four-year, not-for-profit institutions in the U.S. with at least 500 students. Community colleges are eligible to participate. Online-only and for-profit schools are not eligible to participate.
What is the role of the Primary Contact?
The Primary Contact is the main point of contact and is responsible for all survey coordination. The primary contact is also responsible for assuring the completion of the Institution Questionnaire© by the posted deadline.
What is the role of the Secondary Contact?
The Secondary Contact operates as a support role for the Primary Contact.
What is the role of the IT Contact?
The IT Contact is responsible for facilitating the technical aspects of the survey process. Will my institution’s name be released if we are not recognized?
No. Names of institutions that do not receive recognition will not be made public. You can view the institutions recognized as Great Colleges to Work For at www.GreatCollegesList.com and previously recognized institutions here.
How will my institution be notified throughout the survey process? Will we receive regular updates?
You will receive periodic updates regarding the survey timeline via email, and our website is rich with resources and instructions, specifically the Registered Institutions page and tab in the top menu of the website.
How do I submit my email addresses?
Instructions for generating and submitting your email list are available on the Important Forms & Documents page. All emails will be uploaded by the Primary Contact through the Administrative Portal, which will be available after registration closes in early February.
How long will it take our staff to complete the survey?
It typically takes about 18-22 minutes to complete the survey. Survey takers can exit the survey and return to it at another time, using their username and unique password provided by ModernThink in their email survey invitation.
Can we customize the survey and still participate in the program?
Yes, many institutions choose to go beyond basic participation in the program to add specific questions, modify demographics and include additional survey takers.
