The Great Colleges to Work For program is back for its eighth year and is delivering valued results like never before. Using survey research to determine the key success factors that distinguish great colleges, the partnership between The Chronicle of Higher Education and ModernThink LLC has been helping leaders understand and leverage data to build great institutions to work for since 2008. This year, the program brought in 281 institutional applicants from across the U.S., and continues to gain attraction and rapport. Of those applicants, 86 colleges and universities were acknowledged in one or more of 12 recognition categories that dictate vital workplace qualities, such as Senior Leadership and Job Satisfaction. The efforts of the program have effectively shaped the foundation for what it takes to be a “great college,” and this year’s Honor Roll institutions exemplify the four strategic pillars that make up this foundation. Read more about these pillars and gain insight into our data in this year’s supplemental article!
